You can now use Facebook Messenger on your wrist with Android Wear

Android Wear is quickly gaining support for more messaging apps beyond Google's Hangouts. WhatsApp recently released a beta update enabling owners of the LG G Watch and Samsung Gear Live to dictate message replies, swipe through a stack of multiple notifications, and view full-length message previews. Now, Facebook is following close behind and adding support for Android Wear to Messenger.

Whereas before the app simply mirrored your phone's notifications on your wrist, now you're able to immediately respond to a friend's message by talking to your watch. And if a voice reply isn't feasible at the moment, Messenger also lets Android Wear users send a thumbs-up "like" response with just one tap. That convenience is great, but most people should probably still hold off a bit longer before buying into Android Wear.
